The l’Actuel Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2006 by Dr. Réjean Thomas.

The mission of the l’Actuel Foundation is to improve the health and well-being of vulnerable populations through the prevention and treatment of HIV and sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs).

The funds raised enable the foundation to pursue its mission, and every donation received is directly allocated to financing its activities, i.e.:

Offering diagnostic, therapeutic and support services to people living with HIV and STBBIs
Contributing to HIV and STBBI awareness and prevention
Creating and distributing educational materials to inform the public about sexual health
Promoting and defending the rights of people living with HIV and STBBIs
Funding research on HIV and STBBIs to achieve scientific breakthroughs in this field
